ESSENTIAL MAINTENANCE ON THE A76 FROM DUMFRIES AND GALLOWAY BORDER TO DUMFRIES COMMENCES MONDAY 15TH FEBRUARY
Essential vegetation management on the A76 between the Dumfries and Galloway border at Rigg House B+B to Lochside Road Roundabout at Dumfries is taking place from Monday 15th February until Thursday 11th March 2021. Work will be carried out during the hours of 9am and 5pm along the route.
This scheme, with a value of £122,500, will benefit vehicles using this route each day, by improving visibility on the carriageway and preventing the obstruction of direction and tourist signage.
The work will be carried out using a combination of lane closures and stop and go boards.
Please note, all schemes are weather dependent and may be cancelled or rescheduled if weather conditions are not favourable.
