A76 Templeton Roundabout | Lighting, Signage & Bollard Upgrades
Scheme Summary
MAINTENANCE ON THE A76 NEAR AUCHINLECK AT TEMPLETON ROUNDABOUT COMMENCES TUESDAY 6TH JUNE 2023
Amey, on behalf of Transport Scotland as part of the Network Management Contract for the South-West Trunk Road Unit, are undertaking maintenance on the A76 near Auchinleck, at Templeton Roundabout and its approach roads. The work includes street lighting, signage and bollard upgrades and will take place from Tuesday 6th June until Friday 23rd June 2023, between the hours of 9:30am and 4pm, each day.
This scheme will benefit around 10,000 vehicles using this route each day. New columns and cabling will improve road safety and reduce the number of maintenance visits needed with updated signage increasing visibility on the approach to the roundabout.
The work will be carried out using temporary traffic lights at the roundabout. We thank road users for their patience and co-operation while this essential work takes place.
Access for emergency service vehicles will be maintained throughout these works.
Please note, all schemes are weather dependent and may be cancelled or rescheduled if weather conditions are not favourable.
