A77 Dutch House Roundabout (southbound)
11 November 2020
ROAD SAFETY SCHEME ON A77 DUTCH HOUSE COMMENCES 11th NOVEMBER
Road safety improvement works on the southbound A77 Dutch House Roundabout will take place overnight between 8pm and 6am, each night, on Wednesday 11th November and Thursday 12th November 2020.
This scheme is part of investigation work for the installation of new street lighting and safety signposts and will benefit around 32,000 vehicles using this route each day.
This work requires a full closure of the A77 Dutch House Roundabout at this location, with a signed diversion route in operation.
Southbound traffic will leave the A77 at Bellfield and travel on the A71 to join the A78 at Warrix Interchange. From here vehicles will follow to Monktonhead and follows signs to re-join the southbound A77 at Dutch House Roundabout. Northbound traffic will be unaffected.
This scheme has been planned in consultation with Transport Scotland, Traffic Scotland, the emergency services, local restaurant, residents and South Ayrshire Council.
Please note, all schemes are weather dependent and may be cancelled or rescheduled if weather conditions are not favourable.
