Roadmarking Scheme

ESSENTIAL MAINTENANCE ON THE A77 AT WATERTANKS COMMENCES MONDAY 22ND FEBRUARY 

Essential maintenance on the A77 from Watertanks to Ballantrae is taking place from Monday 22nd February until Friday 26th February 2021. Roadmarking work will be carried out during the hours of 9:30am and 4pm, each day.  

This scheme, with a value of £16,000, will benefit vehicles using this route each day, by improving the condition of the carriageway and reducing the need for more extensive maintenance in the future. 

The work will be carried out using temporary traffic signals installed at this location. Please allow extra time for your journey while the scheme is underway.  

Our operatives will follow strict physical distancing and hygiene protocols throughout the programme, in line with the Scottish Government’s COVID-19 guidance. 

Please note, all schemes are weather dependent and may be cancelled or rescheduled if weather conditions are not favourable.
