A77 Whitletts Roundabout
1 March 2021
KERBING SCHEME ON A77 AT WHITLETTS ROUNDABOUT COMMENCES MONDAY 1ST MARCH
A kerbing scheme on the A77 at Whitletts Roundabout is taking place from Monday 1st March and Friday 5th March 2021, between the hours of 7pm until 7am each night.
This scheme, with a value of £7,000, will benefit around 7,300 vehicles and pedestrians using this route each day, by improving safety on the footway and for vehicles exiting the side road.
The work will be carried out using single lane closures at the location and vehicles will be able to continue on their original route. Temporary barriers will be erected to segregate pedestrians from the work site and pedestrians will be escorted by an operative past the site to complete their journey safely.
Our operatives will follow strict physical distancing and hygiene protocols throughout the programme, in line with the Scottish Government’s COVID-19 guidance.
Please note, all schemes are weather dependent and may be cancelled or rescheduled if weather conditions are not favourable.
