A77 Crossraguel Abbey to Maybole
11 December 2020
ESSENTIAL MAINTENANCE ON A77 CROSSRAGUEL ABBEY COMMENCES 11th DECEMBER
Essential maintenance on the A77 from Crossraguel Abbey to Maybole from 8pm on Friday 11th December until 6am on Monday 14th December 2020.
This scheme, with a value of £400,000, will benefit around 11,418 road users travelling this route each day, by improving the condition of the carriageway and reducing the need for more extensive maintenance in future.
The work requires a full weekend closure, with a signed diversion in operation. Businesses in Kirkoswald village will remain open as normal throughout the works.
Northbound traffic will exit the A77 at the A719 Turnberry Junction and will continue on the A719 to Dunne Road, Ayr to the junction with Greenfield Avenue to join the B7024. From here, vehicles will continue to Murdochs Lone junction with Doonholm, and will travel to the junction with the A77 to continue northbound.
Southbound traffic will follow the same diversion in the opposite direction.
Please note, all schemes are weather dependent and may be cancelled or rescheduled if weather conditions are not favourable.
