A77 Vicarton Street to Henrietta Street, Girvan
Scheme Summary
DRAINAGE INVESTIGATION WORKS ON A77 GIRVAN COMMENCE 8th AUGUST
Amey, on behalf of Transport Scotland as part of the Network Management Contract for the South-West Trunk Road Unit, are undertaking overnight investigation works on the A77 between Vicarton Street and Henrietta Street, Girvan from Monday 8th August to Wednesday 17th August 2022 between 8pm and 6am, each night. The road will re-open as normal outwith these times.
This scheme, with a value of £25,000, will benefit road users by informing future programmes to improve the drainage system at this location, as part of an overall strategy to tackle frequent flooding sites on the network.
The work will take place overnight under progressive single lane closures managed by a temporary traffic light system.
Our operatives follow strict physical distancing and hygiene protocols throughout the programme, in line with the current Scottish Government’s COVID-19 guidance.
