M74 Junction 10
22 November 2020
ESSENTIAL MAINTENANCE ON M74 JUNCTION 10 COMMENCES 22nd NOVEMBER
Essential maintenance on the southbound M74 Junction 10 on slip road will take place overnight, between 9.30pm and 6.30am, each night, from Sunday 22nd November to Thursday 3rd December 2020.
The work will benefit around 40,000 road users travelling this route each day, by improving roadside protection and reducing the need for more extensive maintenance in the future.
This scheme requires overnight closures of the M74 Junction 10 slip road, with a signed diversion in operation. Emergency services will have access through these works.
Traffic will be diverted to the B7078 to travel south and will re-join the M74 at Junction 11.
During the day, the slip road will be open to traffic with temporary road barriers in place to protect the travelling public.
Please note, all schemes are weather dependent and may be cancelled or rescheduled if weather conditions are not favourable.
