ESSENTIAL MAINTENANCE ON M8 GANTRIES COMMENCES 10th MAY
Amey, on behalf of Transport Scotland as part of the Network Management Contract for the South West Trunk Road Unit, are undertaking essential gantry mesh maintenance overnight on the eastbound M8 Junction 21. Work will take place between 8pm and 6am, each night from Monday 10th May to Friday 14th May 2021.
This scheme requires a closure of the M8 eastbound Junction 21 off-slip road and eastbound Lane 4, while this work is taking place, with a signed diversion route in operation.
Junction 21 off-slip traffic will be directed to the M8 Kinning Park off-slip to join Paisley Road and will follow local signage to continue their journey.
Our operatives will follow strict physical distancing and hygiene protocols throughout the programme, in line with the Scottish Government’s COVID-19 guidance.
Please note, all schemes are weather dependent and may be cancelled or rescheduled if weather conditions are not favourable.
