M8 WOODSIDE VIADUCTS:
WORKS ON M8 JUNCTION 17 COMMENCE 27th MARCH

Amey, on behalf of Transport Scotland, is undertaking carriageway realignment works on the M8 westbound on-slip at Junction 17 (West Graham Street), from Monday 27th March until Saturday 22nd July 2023. The work will be carried out under a full continuous closure of the slip road at Junction 17, with signed daytime and nighttime diversion routes in operation.

This scheme will provide alternative access to the westbound M8 as part of the ongoing repair work being undertaken on the M8 Woodside Viaducts Junctions 16 - 17.

Traffic will be diverted at West Graham Street, travelling eastbound to Cowcaddens. From here, vehicles will continue to Garscube Roundabout and join the A804 Phoenix Road, before taking the westbound M8 Junction 17 on-slip.

PLEASE NOTE: Access for emergency service vehicles will not be maintained throughout these works.
