We supported Santa and all his friends at Strathclyde Park on Sunday 13th November for Santa’s Zippity Doo Dash!
For the eighth year, Amey sponsored the annual Santa Dash and Reindeer Run in aid of St. Andrew's Hospice. The hospice provides palliative care and support for terminally ill people and their families.
This was the first in-person event by the Hospice in three years, due to the Covid-19 outbreak. To mark the occasion the Hospice pulled out all the stops with a number of Santa Stations positioned around the 6K route.
- You could fly through the sky like Santa & his reindeer as you whizzed across a 1000ft zip slide over the loch!
- Or you could dash around the park in search of Santa and all his friends waiting to greet you? As you made your way around the course, you could tick off everyone you met in your very own Elf Passport!
An Amey Gritter vehicle transporting Santa to his grotto on the day, direct from the North Pole. There was also be an exclusive opportunity to name one of our gritter fleet.
